If anything, I could see something being established in or around Ko Olina.
Good place to watch a football game or have a pau hana beer with a couple friends, though. Same with eight50 we could drink there, but it just wasn't popping at all. Nope! It's always packed with military folks or local families with kids that couldn't decide on dinner. I thought, cool, finally a place for me and my friends to go drink at.
Of course Oahu is progressive enough, but the real issue is: would the bar be profitable outside of Honolulu? People that spend more money in clubs/bars (ie: tourists) aren't really present in places like Aiea.īack in my partying days I used to wonder why there wasn't an actual (not Korean/karaoke) bar in or anywhere near Pearl City, then Buffalo Wild Wings popped up.
